Ásætur 

Laugardaginn 1. apríl kl. 17 opnar sýningin Ásætur í Grasagarðinum í Reykjavík. Sýningin er samstarf meistaranema í myndlist​ við Listaháskóla Íslands og meistaranema í sýningargerð við Háskóla Íslands.  
Ellefu myndlistarmenn sýna verk sín og ljóst er að þar kennir ýmissa grasa. Nemendur bjóða gestum garðsins að stíga inn í óræðan heim plöntulífríkis þar sem margslungið samspil manna, dýra og plantna verður í aðalhlutverki. Listaverkin haga sér eins og ásætur, birtast að vori en eru fjarlægð áður en þau ná að festa sig í sessi og trufla ekki hringrás þeirra lífvera sem finnast þar í kring. Líkt og mosi á steini, skóf á berki eða sýklaskán á botni gullfiskatjarnar.  
Sýningin stendur til 10. apríl.

Epiphytes

On Saturday April  1st at 5 p.m., the exhibition Epiphytes will open at The Reykjavik Botanical Garden. The exhibition is a collaboration between MA students at the Iceland University of the Arts and MA students in curatorial studies at the University of Iceland.
Eleven artists display their artworks and invite guests to step into the intangible world of the garden where different types of plants, animals and people meet.
The artworks are like epiphytes that appear in the spring, but are removed before they take hold, not intending to disturb the cycle of the organisms found around it. Like moss on a stone, lichenes on a bark or sludge on the bottom of a goldfish pond. 
The opening will take place on April 1st between 5-7 p.m. and the exhibition is set to end on April 10th.
