Sometimes I forget
that I am a living,
evolving,
breathing,
human being
that changes shape and form, feelings and thoughts
with time and with circumstance.
And find myself in
a whirlwind
of doubt,
insecurity,
alienation,
when I meet the rigid
mass-produced
forms,
systems,
expectations,
that the man made
in an attempt to
simplify,
standardize,
categorize,
things.

Júlíanna Ósk Hafberg (b.1992) is a multidisciplinary artist that through her work explores the topics and questions of the human experience, with the approach of vulnerability, softness, and feminine energies. Her work is there to make space for emotions and thoughts in an often harsh and fast paced world that we live in in today’s society.
She uses curiosity and playfulness to explore and weave together many different materials and mediums, from painting, drawing and textile to woodworking, glass cutting and sculpture.
Júlíanna has a broad background, a BA in textile and fashion design and a Diploma in creative leadership, human centered experience design and project management from the school Kaospilot in Aarhus, Denmark.
