The last lecture of the Sneiðmynd lecture series will occur on Tuesday the 4th of May at 12:10 at Microsoft Teams.
The lecture will be in English, all welcome!

Johanna Seelemann is an explorer and a conceptual designer, developing products, exhibitions, videos and working in interdisciplinary collaborations. Her works explore the mystification of everyday-consumed products, as well as commodity journeys along their supply chains. Unearthing the hidden contexts of mundane products that enable today’s everyday life engenders drawing alternatives and future-scenarios.

Johanna developed her fascinations during the bachelor course in Product Design at the Iceland University of the Arts as well as the master program of Contextual Design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven.

She currently receives the Talent Development Grant from the Creative Industries Fund NL, teaches at both the Product Design Bachelor and Design Master at the IUA and the Studio for Immediate Spaces at the Sandberg Instituut.

 

SNEIÐMYND
Intensive research by lecturers at the Faculty of Design and Architecture is the cornerstone of skills creation, ideological renewal and artistic achievement, communicated to students through tuition and to the community at large by collaborating in a variety of projects in the domestic as well as the international arena. Sneiðmynd is a series of lectures in which members of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Design and Architecture showcase their research and artistic creativity.
The lectures are open to everyone; professionals, students and others interested in design and architecture are encouraged to attend.
