Lecturers can apply for Erasmus+ grants to teach at a partner university for 2-60 days. All staff members can apply for a grant to go on training abroad to participate in activities that strengthen their work related skills, such as workshops, job shadowing or organised visits to partner universities. Universities can also invite representatives from enterprises in the Erasmus+ programme countries for teaching visits.

 

The grants may be used for teaching or training in all the participating countries of Erasmus+. These are the 28 EU countries, EFTA countries Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway, as well as Turkey, Serbia and Macedonia. See map. 
 
Teachers and other staff members can also apply for grants for countries outside Europe. Universities can also invite teachers and staff from a partner university outside Europe and apply for a grant for them. The application deadline for these grants is in January each year. 
 

Application Procedure Staff Exchange

Application deadline is 25 November 2022
 
The application consists of an electronic application and mobility agreement for teaching or training which is attached to the elecronic application form. For outgoing staff/teachers: The mobility agreement must be signed by all parties: applicant, head of department/unit as well as contact person in hosting institution. 
 

Application Procedure Invited Staff from Enterprise

Application deadline is 25 November 2022
 
Heads of departments and programme directors can apply for grants to invite a staff member from an enterprise in Europe to come to teach at the IUA, on the condition that the invited staff member does not have a position at a university.
 
The application consists of an electronic application and mobility agreement for incoming staff from enterprise which is attached to the elecronic application form. The mobility agreement must be signed by the applicant, the visiting staff from enterprise and IUA head of department.

 

Nordplus Grants

Teachers can apply for Nordplus grants for teaching exchange at partner institutions in the Nordic-Baltic region.
