Gagnvirkt borðspil og meðfylgjandi myndband

“SAVE YOUR ACTIVISM FOR SUNDAY” // “ALLE SYNES PLANTER ER TOPP!” er spilanlegt skjalasafn sem fjallar um mótmæli og aktívisma nemenda KMD sem voru framin til að sýna samstöðu með Palestínu og andmæla yfirstandandi þjóðarmorði. Einnig er fjallað um hvernig listastofnunin KMD, Listaháskólinn í Bergen sem er undirstofnun Háskólans í Bergen, brást við í samræmi við „hlutlausa“ afstöðu norsku ríkisstjórnarinnar.

Borðspilið hefur þegar verið sett upp og spilað í KHiO, Listaháskólanum í Ósló, með þátttöku nemenda, kennara og stjórnenda. Það er grunnurinn að myndbandsverkinu, sem inniheldur einnig efni úr skjalasafninu sem borðspilið byggir á.

Verkefnið er samstarfsverkefni sem spannar tvo listaháskóla í tveimur löndum. Á meðan Nete er að útskrifast frá LHÍ útskrifast Margrethe samtímis frá KMD í Noregi þar sem þau byrjuðu bæði í BA árið 2023.

Borðspilið verður spilað í Noregi og á Íslandi, miðvikudaginn 13.maí, kl. 14.00. Þátttakendur munu leika hlutverk listnema sem stunda aktívisma.

Interactive boardgame and accompanying video

“SAVE YOUR ACTIVISM FOR SUNDAY” // “ALLE SYNES PLANTER ER TOP!” is a playable
archive covering student protest and activism carried out in solidarity with Palestine, to speak up against the ongoing genocide. It also covers how the art institution KMD, The Art Academy in Bergen, under UiB, the University of Bergen, responded in line with the Norwegian government’s “neutral” position.

The boardgame has already been played at KHiO, the art academy in Oslo, by students, professors and administration. This laid the basis for the video piece, also featuring material from the archive that the boardgame is built on.

This project is a collaboration spanning across two art academies in two countries. While Nete is graduating from LHÍ, Margrethe is simultaneously graduating from KMD in Norway, where they both started their BA in 2023.

The boardgame will be performed in Norway and in Iceland, on Wednesday the 13th of May at 2pm. Participants will be roleplaying as art students carrying out student activism.
