Augnsamband er með því helsta sem við höfum til að ná djúpum tengslum við hvert annað. Augun eru eins og gluggi að innra sálarlífi og í augnsambandinu finnum við raunverulega fyrir ástandi og tilveru annarar manneskju.
Hér býð ég ykkur að horfast á við dauðann. Hann er mikilvægur, óumflýgjanlegur, endanlegur og hræðilegur. En mér finnst mikilvægt að nýta mér þessi óþægindi, að horfast í augu við dauðann, á uppbyggilegan hátt. Að gefa lífinu meira vægi með því að minnast þess óumflýgjanlega.
Hvað breytist við dauða? Hvað verður um manneskjuna? Og hvað situr eftir?

Eye contact is one of the most powerful ways we have to form deep connections with each other. The eyes serve as a window to our soul, and through eye contact we can truly sense another person’s state of being.
Here, I invite you to confront death. It is important, inevitable, final, and terrifying. But I believe it’s vital to embrace that discomfort, to face death in a constructive way. To give life greater meaning by remembering that which is inevitable.
What changes with death? What becomes of the person? And what remains?
