How to Love When It’s the End of the World

Artist: Sunniva Allanic, 2nd year MA Fine Art student

„How to Love When It’s the End of the World“ explores themes of fear, fragility, and responsibility in the face of a world in flux. Sculpted from raw materials—plaster, wax, steel, chicken wire, and wool—the works presented embody the inherent tension between strength and vulnerability. These evocative creatures, both familiar and unsettling, challenge the boundaries between self and other, inviting the viewer to contemplate our ways of relating. The exhibition, navigates the emotional landscape of fear and love, asking: How do we connect, how do we care, when the future feels uncertain?

Sunniva Allanic (b. 2000) graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the École des Beaux Arts de Nantes, France, in 2023.
