Hamskipti þekkjum við úr þjóðsögum og ævintýrum, oft sem táknmynd fyrir innri breytingar eða andlegt ástand. Stundum festumst við í ástandi dauflyndis og finnum ekki útleið. 

Í þessu verki geri ég tilraunir til að þvinga fram hamskipti, sjálfstýrða umbreytingu. Verkið er sett upp sem leiðarvísir þar sem skref eru tekin í átt að ummyndun. Það að koma sér úr einu ástandi í annað.

We are familiar with metamorphosis from stories and fairytales, often used as a metaphor for the state of mind or a change within a person. Sometimes we get stuck in a melancholic state we can‘t seem to get out of.  

This work is an attempt to force metamorphosis, a deliberate shift from one state to another. It takes the form of a guide or a blueprint, with each step revealing part of the transformation process.
