Gullni sólargangurinn verður þeirra nýja Qulleq. 

Í óvissri framtíð flytur fjölskylda frá Grænlandi til Stykkishólms. 

Þar mótar hún sér nýtt líf, nýtt skjól, sinn eigin heim. 

Byggingin er ferðalag, frá sjávarmáli upp að kletti,  

frá rekstri húðkeipa að skjóli heimilisins og daglegu lífi.  

Rýmin mótast af útsýni, sólargangi og hæðarmun staðarins. 

Í hjarta heimilisins er eldhúsið,  þar sem samveran verður að ljósi.  

Þar eru sögur sagðar, fiskur verkaður og daglegt líf fléttast við náttúruna. 

Þar lifir Qulleq, tákn hlýju, samveru og vonar.

The golden path of the sun becomes their new Qulleq.  

In an uncertain future, a family moves from Greenland to Stykkishólmur.  

There, they begin anew, shaping a life, a shelter, a home of their own.  

The building becomes a journey: from the sea’s edge to the rocky heights,  

from guiding kayaks through coastal waters to finding refuge in the routines of daily life.  

The spaces are carved by the view, the suns’ movement, and the shifting terrain.  

At the heart of the home is the kitchen, where togetherness becomes light.  

It´s where stories are shared, fish is prepared, and life entwines with nature.  

This is where Qulleq lives, a symbol of warmth, connection and hope.
