This spring, Ari Johannesen presents his bachelor concert as the culmination of three years of artistic development in Iceland.
In 2025, he was nominated as Best Instrumentalist at the Faroese Music Awards, recognizing his versatility as a performer. Having played with various bands across many genres, Ari brings a broad musical background into his own compositional voice.
Since moving to Iceland, his focus has centered on jazz, while blending influences from indie rock, folk, and world music. The concert features exclusively original compositions and offers a personal snapshot of his musical growth, creative identity, and artistic direction moving forward.
