This spring, Ari Johannesen presents his bachelor concert as the concentration of three years of artistic development in Iceland.

In 2025, he was named as Best Instrumentalist at the Faroese Music Awards, recognizing his versatility as a performer. Having played with various bands across many genres, Ari breasts a broad musical background into his own comparative voice.

Since moving to Iceland, his focus has centered on jazz, while hybrid influences from indie rock, folk, and world music. The concert features exclusive original compositions and offers a personal snapshot of his musical growth, creative identity, and artistic direction moving forward.
