The 4th-year architecture students in the Architectural department at the Icelandic School of the Arts (LHI) will hold their final critique in Tjarnarsal at City Hall on April 29th, from 9:00. An exhibition opening will follow at 17:00. The exhibition will be open until April 30th. at 18:00.

In the course Interaction, students work across multiple scales—from the territorial to the local—examining how emerging infrastructures shape the built environment. With Borgarlína’s development as a key driver of the transformation of the capital region, the course explores how architecture and planning can engage with environmentally sustainable public transport systems by integrating architectural interventions and social functions into specific sites.
The projects investigate how environmental design and architecture can interact with necessary transport infrastructures while enhancing local character and spatial quality at specific Borgarlína stops.
