Í tímaritinu Listanes eru spuni og húmor ríkjandi þema. Ljóð, ljósmyndir og einkennilegar greinar ásamt öðru efni tímaritsins er ætlað að raska viðteknum venjum í hefðbundinni tímaritaútgáfu. Notast er við efni eftir höfundinn ásamt innsendu efni frá ungu listafólki sem allt tengist myndlist á einhvern hátt.
