Það er oft talið að misskilningur sé galli í samskiptum, þegar í raun er það oft misskilningurinn sem drífur samskipti áfram og tengir fólk. Ef við myndum alltaf skilja hvort annað, þyrftum við ekkert að tala saman … eða rökræða! Ef allir myndu upplifa hlutina nákvæmlega eins, væri engin þörf á frekari útskýringum, og samtöl yrðu óþörf. Í pínulitlu húsi í risastórri borg eyða systurnar Kata og Birta deginum saman þar sem þær að stíga inn í heim án misskilnings og átta sig fljótlega að það er einmitt á milli orðanna þar sem skemmtunin hefst.

Misunderstanding is often seen as a flaw in communication, when in reality it is often misunderstanding that drives communication and connects people. If we always understood one another, there would be no need to speak… or to argue! If everyone experienced things in exactly the same way, there would be no need for further explanation, and conversation itself would become unnecessary. In a tiny house in a vast city, the sisters Kata and Birta spend the day together as they step into a world without misunderstanding, only to quickly realize that it is precisely in the space between words that the fun begins.
