The students researched material, cultural, and ecological entanglements of the Arctic to propose creative design interventions. The works on show are provocative maps, speculative artefacts, extreme wearables and future crafts – all embodying new sustainable ways of inhabiting the Nordic Polar and Circumpolar Regions.
The exhibition is curated by Thomas Pausz, Associate Professor at the Iceland University of the Arts.
