Málþing er fundur. 

Á málþingi talar fólk saman um ákveðið mál. 

Þetta málþing er um:  

háskóla·nám fyrir fólk með þroskahömlun. 

Sumt fólk talar uppi á sviði. 

Sumt fólk talar í sófa·spjalli. 

Þetta fólk eru þátttakendur. 

Önnur eru áhorfendur. 

Áhorfendur horfa og hlusta. 

Áhorfendur geta stundum spurt spurninga. 

Þú getur verið áhorfandi á þessu málþingi. 

🗓️ Hvar og hvenær verður málþingið? 

• Málþingið verður í Borgar·leikhúsinu. 

• Það verður laugardaginn 1. nóvember 

• Það byrjar klukkan 10.30 og er búið klukkan 1 eftir hádegi. 

• Það verða þrjár pásur. 

• Það verða léttar veitingar milli 1 og 2. 

• Þá getur fólk spjallað meira saman. 

• Það kostar ekkert að koma á málþingið. 

🏫 Hver heldur málþingið? 

Lista·háskóli Íslands heldur málþingið. 

Lista·háskólinn fær aðstoð frá: 

• Háskóla Íslands (HÍ). 

• Háskólanum á Akureyri (HA). 

• Þroskahjálp. 

• ÖBÍ réttindasamtök. 

• Borgar·leikhúsinu. 

Lista·háskólinn vinnur líka verkefni með HÍ og HA. 

• Verkefnið er um háskóla·nám fyrir fólk með þroskahömlun. 

• Háskóla·ráðuneytið styrkir verkefnið.

This symposium is about University education for people with intellectual disabilities 

You can be an audience member at this conference. 

🗓️ When and Where is the symposium? 

The symposium is at the City Theatre (Borgarleikhúsið).
It is on Saturday, November 1.
It starts at 10.30 AM and ends at 13.00 PM. 

There will be three breaks.
From 13 to 14 PM, there will be light refreshments.
People can talk and enjoy small snacks and drinks. 

The symposium is free 

🏫 Who is organizing the symposium? 

The Art University is organizing the symposium.
They are getting help from: 

• University of Iceland (HÍ) 

• University of Akureyri (HA) 

• Þroskahjálp Human Rights Organization 

• The Organization of Disabled in Iceland (ÖBÍ) 

• The City Theatre (Borgarleikhúsið) 

The Art University is also working on a project with HÍ and HA.
The project is about university education for people with intellectual disabilities.
The Ministry of Higher Education is giving money to support this project.

• Why are there no disabled people at the Art University? 

• How can disabled people study in the Art University? 

• Rights of disabled people. 

• How can art help us express what we want to say? 

• Diploma studies.

The Iceland University of the Arts (IUA) invites you to a symposium about equal access to arts education.
The symposium is organized together with:

• Staff from the University of the Arts

Stjórnendur eru Hekla Björk Hólmgeirsdóttir ráðgjafi í menningar,- nýsköpunar- og háskólaráðuneytinu og aðjúnkt við menntavísindasvið HÍ og Þóra Einarsdóttir aðstoðarrektor náms og kennslu hjá LHÍ.   

Málþingið verður táknmálstúlkað og aðgengi fyrir hjólastóla er gott (sjá HÉR)
