Acrylic and watercolor on cotton and cotton paper, two-color film, water, steel, sound
The works are traces of a multi-layered dancing soundscape, in the form of experiments in painting Soft rhythms lead the brush around the cotton canvas and the strokes follow the notes until it becomes a painting Heavy rhythms encourage me to let go and destroy, so that lighter tones can take over and lead me to the work in a new way.
The works reflect my curiosity towards the limits and interaction of materials [of cotton, plastic, water [s], and the tension between them I examine the presence of water in the paintings and show the results of experiments with the interaction of natural materials and synthetic materials Restrictions appear in the form of the frame delineating the works and the duration of the songs I listen to during work.
Acrylic and watercolor on cotton and cotton paper, dichroic film, water, steel, sound
The works bear traces of a layered, dancing soundscape in the form of painterly experiments. Soft rhythms guide the brush across the cotton surface, and the strokes follow the tones until they become a painting. Heavier rhythms urge me to let go and disrupt the work, allowing lighter tones to take over and lead me back to it in a new way.
The works reflect my curiosity about the limits and interplay of materials: plastic, waterand the tension between them. I explore the presence of water within the paintings and present the results of experiments with the interaction between natural and synthetic materials. Constrains appear in the form of the frame that defines the works and the duration of the tracks I listen to while working.
