Employees of the computer department are working from 9.00 - 16.00. Often they are working away from the department's offices, and you can then send a request for help by e-mail to verk@hjalp.lhi.is

Rules for the use of computer equipment owned or managed by the University of the Arts apply to all employees and students of the school. Users are obliged to familiarize themselves with the rules. Violations of these rules may lead to the blocking of access to the LHÍ computer system, in the case of a serious or repeated violation, it may end with expulsion from the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
Students are assigned a mailbox by lhi.is
The mailbox is located on Microsoft's servers and at the same time provides access to a 100 GB storage area in OneDrive, access to Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and permission to download the Office applications on up to 5 devices.
Students receive a printing quota per semester corresponding to 100 A4 pages in color or 500 A4 pages in black/white laser printing If they exceed it, they will have to pay separately for printing.

Students can get help with basic services related to their studies at the school. The systems supported by the customer service department are: Mac OS X, Linux, Windows.
If machines cannot be entered into basic services due to a failure of the hardware, operating system or other software, the student must turn to his repairer.
