The earth under our feet tells of the sunset of life at the Grund nursing home in Reykjavík where time is subject to its own laws The film is poetic and provides a unique insight into this period of life where humanity and love shine through The film has impressed people of all ages and no less younger generations.
The film is by Yrsa Roca Fannberg and has won many parts of Europe and received unanimous praise. It premiered at the Danish Documentary Film Festival CPH:Dox. The film has already been selected for screening at the Gimli International Film Festival, Dok.fest Münich, DMZ International Documentary Film Festival and Nordisk Panorama to glowing acclaim. Last year it was shown alone at Riff and at Bíó Paradís.
