The week 24.-28. February 2025, the students of the graduation year of LHÍ's acting program went on a study trip to KHIO, Kunsthögskolen I Oslo, where they were well received. Agnar Jón Egilsson, the professional director of LHÍ's acting program, and Snæbjörg Sigurgeirsdóttir, professor, were on a trip.
The Icelandic group got to know their Norwegian colleagues well in movement classes in the morning and voice classes in the afternoon, where the duo Sylvi Fredriksen and Marius Holth kept track of the lessons. It was a matter of people that the mood was great in the group, the cooperation was very good and the teaching was exemplary.
The group also used the tour to go to the theater a lot and see a variety of productions.
In the accompanying film, the group poses with Ketti, who played a major role in Det Norske Teater's production of Lady Macbeth.
This visit is part of the collaboration between the Iceland University of the Arts and KHIO.
