Hafsteinn Nielsson

Musicals and a new interpretation of Icelandic heritage are most at the heart of Hafstein Níelsson. Iceland is a small but amazing country with even more strange stories. Hafsteinn wants to say that the performing arts enable us to see (let alone experience) stories in a new light. A colorful light that opposes dualism and distorts history for the better.
In productions, Hafsteinn makes use of artistic elements such as music, light, dance, projection, etc. to create complex yet rhythmic works that deconstruct our ideas about the traditional play text as key elements of theatre In Hafstein's work, more elements than the actors can have a game victory.
