Sigur Huldar Ellerup Geirs studied Domus Vox with Hanna Björk Guðjónsdóttir in 2015 and completed a basic exam in singing. Sigur then began studying MÍT and completed his matriculation exam in classical singing under the guidance of Sigrún Hjálmtýsdóttir.
In recent seasons, Hán has studied at the singing department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts under the guidance of Hanna Dóra Sturludóttir, Dísella Lárusdóttir and Kristins Sigmundsson. Sigur has been in choirs all her life and had the opportunity to participate in various projects on their behalf. With the chamber choir Aurora, Sigur played in the musical 9Líf um Bubba Morthens, which was shown 250 times on the big stage of the City Theater and with the musical and performing arts choir Viðlagi, hán took part in the production of the exhibition, We are here”, but it was shown to a full house in Tjarnarbíó from October 2025.
Í námi sínu hefur Sigur tekist á hendur ýmis hlutverk úr óperu bókmenntunum og meðal hlutverka sem hán hefur farið með eru: Pastore í La liberazione di Ruggiero dall’isola di Alcina eftir Francesca Caccini, Dr. Blind úr Die Fledermaus eftir Johann Strauss II, Nornin í Hans og Grétu eftir Engelbert Humperdinck. Hán hefur einnig tekið þátt í óperudögum og fór þar með hlutverk Hönnu ,,eftir” í óperunni As One eftir Laura Kaminsky, undir leikstjórn Örnu Magneu Danks.
