THREADS - TBL.11

PREFACE

Here, the 11th issue of Thread sails to the digital port on the tenth anniversary of the publication, which has for that reason published an anthology in print that contains the first ten issues of the publication. But Threads continue and this issue therefore marks a new phase. Here are four new articles by the employees of the music department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts and also one of the department's dedicated students.

Atli Ingólfsson rides the ford as soon as possible and reports on his research project Khallam's notes. The undersigned also reports on research on the settings used in the work Felling of Time. Hollneminn Rory Murphy (MMus, 2023) sends us such a detailed explanation of his approach to composing for Magnetic Resonator Piano (MRP). Sigurður Halldórsson then closes this issue with a travelogue about Conakry's different cultures in Guinea.

I thank the editorial board for their good and quality work and hope that readers enjoy the writing.
