There was considerable anticipation in Harpa when the fashion exhibition of graduates in fashion design at the Iceland Academy of the Arts took place in Flóa on Friday. The interest turned out to be so great that fewer people came to it than wanted, as it was one of the highlights of the graduation festival of the University of the Arts.

At the exhibition, fashion design students presented their final projects, which are individual projects based on free study, design and creation of an entire clothing line under the guidance of instructors The projects reflected a diverse approach, personal research and a strong professional vision of each individual designer.

This time, ten fashion designers graduate from the program:

Bjørk Bregendahl
Friða Björg Pétursdóttir
Hafberg Sól Jóhannsdóttir
Helgi Þorleifur Þórhallsson
Hulda Kristín Hauksdóttir
Kristrún Rut H. Antonsdóttir
Ólafía Elísabet Einarsdóttir
Rósa Marí Sigmarsdóttir
Stella Michiko Sigrún Delli Zuani
Ingi Ingibergsson swears

The curator was Anna Clausen.

The fashion exhibition is part of the larger program of the graduation ceremony of the Iceland Academy of the Arts, where students' works in design and art will be given a deserved space. Graduation projects for BA students will later be on display at an extensive graduation exhibition in Hafnarhús, which opens on May 9.
