Graduation work
Absorb
The sounds fall together and get lost in each other,
they transform until nothing is left but the idea of them.
One sound, woven from hidden sounds,
the sounds swallow each other.
The work Absorb examines listening for the qualities of sounds, the similarities between them, and the originWhat has been lost? What sounds do the acoustic instruments not convey? What is the origin of the material that the ears listen to and does it matter?
