Have you heard about the board game Hnefatafl? Probably the answer is no. Fistatafl is a board game played by people in Iceland and the Nordic countries in the period from 700 to 1000. The game almost died out when chess gained popularity in Europe in the 10th century. How would a fistboard have developed had it not happened? Had it been an everyday game that Icelanders took on dark winter evenings? Here they are dealt with and the appearance of the fistboard is redesigned With modern marking, the card is given a new and fresh breath of breath, working with references to the tradition. Thus, Icelanders can get in better contact with their own roots while playing.
