A joint exhibition of master's students in art opened last May 10 with pomp and show at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The exhibition was called Visible spectrum and there are nine students who are graduating from the ma programme in fine art this time. They are: Emil Gunnarsson, Heimir Snær Sveinsson, Jiayan Chen, Marzieh Amiri, Nicole Desautels, Sandijs Ruluks, Sunniva Allanic, Vala Sigþrúðar Jónsdóttir and Wanxin Qu. The curator was Daníel Björnsson.
Kristín Eysteinsdóttir, rector of the University of the Arts, staged the exhibition and praised the exhibition and thanked the Museum of Contemporary Art for the collaboration in recent years. The exhibition was well attended and received good acclaim.
The exhibition ended last night and it marks the end of the exhibition, as graduate students have pushed the boundaries of fine art with their innovative work methods.
