LHÍ freshman days 2026

The Iceland Academy of the Arts welcomes all new students to freshman days August 17-18, 2026. The joint program of new students takes place in the school's premises at Stakkahlíð 1 and starts at 10:30 on Monday, August 17. There, new students receive various education about the school's life and services, get to know their fellow students and staff and receive access cards from buildings.

After the freshman days, the school's departments accept students for the ongoing program for the rest of the week, but more information about the department-switched program can be found here.
