On the occasion of Misvíðir, a joint project of the fashion design program of the Iceland University of the Arts and the Red Cross Clothing Collection, will take place for the tenth time this year, a festival will be held in the Nordic House and Gróska on the 22nd-24th. November, with a seminar, exhibitions and workshops.
For ten years, second-year students of the fashion design program have designed a clothing line made entirely from unsaleable clothing and textiles collected in the Red Cross Clothing Collection The results of the course have been shown at a fashion show, in installation and in fashion photographs every year, and now there is an occasion to celebrate it.

A seminar entitled „Fashion and Environmental A”" will be offered in the Nordic House on Friday, November 22 at 12.30-16. The fashion design course of the Iceland University of the Arts, the Red Cross Clothing Collection and the Environment Agency are organized at the seminar.

The subject of the seminar is the state of fashion and fashion design in Iceland today, the environmental impact of the clothing industry and the cycle of textiles. Among the speakers on the program are fashion designers, producers, and teachers within the profession.

Opening of the retrospective exhibition „Discrimination in ten years officially opened in the lobby of Norræna hús on Friday, November 22 at 16:00.
Subsequently, visitors will be invited to Gróska, where students in the second year of the fashion design course will have an installation.

Welcome to the design exhibition of Misbrigða X, which opens on Friday, November 22 in Mýrin, Gróska, at 17 - 19 and is open all weekend, between 12:00 and 17:00

The design exhibition presents clothing, made by students in the 2nd year of fashion design in collaboration with the Icelandic Red Cross Clothing Collection. The project Misvíðir is now being done for the tenth time and the fashion exhibition took place on November 2. You can see the clothing up close, the work process, related material and the motivation behind the project.
