The singing competition Vox Domini, organized by the Association of Singing Teachers in Iceland, took place in the Hall in Kópavogur yesterday, Sunday, March 15. It was especially gratifying that all award winners in the competition's university category are singing students at the department of music of the Iceland University of the Arts.

In first place was Direct Ingeborg Greve, who is in her second year of singing studies at the department of music of LHÍ. She impressed both the jury and the audience with elegant and refined singing, as well as lively demeanor and strong radiance on stage.
In second place was Guðrún Margrét Halldórsdóttir, a student in her first year of singing at LHÍ. Guðrún did very well in the competition and also won a special award for her performance of a song by Jón Ásgeirsson.
In third place was Gudný Guðmundsdóttir, a third-year student singing at LHÍ. She attracted attention for her impressive performance of Rosalinde's aria (Czardas) from The bat by Johann Strauss.
Teachers studying singing at the department of music of LHÍ are Dísella Lárusdóttir, Hanna Dóra Sturludóttir, Kristinn Sigmundsson and Matthildur Anna Gísladóttir.
We sincerely congratulate them on their great success, the future is yours.
