Creative industries as a driving force in rural areas: Overlap of culture, creativity and entrepreneurship

The first international conference organized by the Research Center for Creative Industries (RSG) will be held in Edda, the building of the Icelandic language, on Friday, May 30, 2025. It will discuss the impact of culture and creative industries on social and economic innovation in rural areas. The importance of entrepreneurs and local development to promote sustainability and perseverance in marginalized areas will be highlighted.

RSG organizes the conference in collaboration with Árnastofnun and the research project IN SITU, which is funded by Horizon Europe and deals with the impact of culture and creative industries on regional innovation in rural areas.
