  • December 9, 2025

Þorbjörg Daphne Hall, professor of music studies, took part in a workshop on equality issues in music at the University of Copenhagen in November. It was part of a larger project by the Nordic research group ENMu (Equality in Nordic Music) on equality in music in the Nordic countries.

The group received a grant from Riksbankens Jubileumsfond in Sweden 2023-2025, but it has worked with innovative research methods and is working on a research project developed based on the needs of the music scene and industry, based on workshops with stakeholders in Sweden, Denmark and Iceland in the last two years.

Partners are the University of Copenhagen, the University of Uppsala, the University of Örebro, the University of Oslo, the Oslo Metropolitan University, the University of Trondheim, the Åbo Akademi, the University of Jyväskylä and the University of Iceland.
