Transformations - opportunities for buildings in Háteigshverfi
Open review of the projects of 4th year architecture students at the Iceland University of the Arts.
Working with the current settlement looks equally at history and contemporary times, opening up changes for the future Students in Year 4 of architecture have scrutinized the cycle of water and other materials and formulated proposals for the transformation of selected buildings into Háteigshverfi The gymnasium, block, farm and machine house are examples of buildings that are given a new role in the hands of students.
An open review of the projects will take place in the east vestibule of Kjarvalsstaðir on Thursday, December 5 at 10-16.

– opportunities of existing buildings in Háteigsvegur neighborhood
Open crit with 4th year students in architecture, Iceland University of the Arts.
To present means to acknowledge the past and present equally, and to allow for change as an act of future envisioning. Based on studies and topics of transformations of existing buildings in Háteigur neighborhood, architecture students have narrated their own stories of change.
Projects by 4th year students in architecture will be presented and discussed in Kjarvalsstaðir Thursday December 5th starting at 10 AM. Drop -ins welcome.
