The foreigner

Hanna Ágústa
Stage writer's track

In the shadow of a nuclear accident in the Soviet Union, a driven foreigner comes to a town in the Icelandic countryside. This is followed by a series of events that affect the lives of everyone in the countryside permanently.

Meanwhile, a widow in contemporary Reykjavík deals with life after death. Old betrayals surface and are still burning in old glory.

The foreigner is a story from Icelandic reality that weaves together wakefulness and dream, past and future.
