In the lecture, art historian Marta Czyz discusses exhibition-making based on archives focusing on the history of the social movement in the context of the present She recounts her work as a curator at the 2024 Venice Biennale where she worked with Ukrainian artists during the far-right regime.
Marta Czyż is an art historian, independent curator and critic who lives and works in Warsaw She was the curator of the Polish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2024 (with an exhibition from the Ukrainian group Open Group) She studies the history of exhibitions in Poland and the field of curatorial work Since 2019, she has focused on Ukrainian art Marta graduated in the Faculty of Art Studies at Warsaw University, completed curatorial studies at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow She was an Erasmus student at the Freie Universitat in Berlin She has had exhibitions at the CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, BWA Zielona Gora (Poland) and the National Museum in Szczecin (Poland) and more. In 2020, she co-directed the Festival of Ephemeral Arts in the exhibition in Poland and the exhibition in Europe in Europe (Poland) and the exhibition in the World Press in Poland).

She studies the history of exhibitions in Poland and the profession of curiosity. Since 2019 she is focused on Ukrainian art. She graduated in Art History faculty in Warsaw University, curatorial studies in Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
