The LHÍ Teaching and Equality Committees invite the documentary to be screened „Acting Normal with CVI“ / „For all eyes“ by Bjarneyja Lúðvíksdóttir.

The film tells the story of singer Dagbjartar Andrésdóttir's struggle with the musical system. Dagbjört was born with brain-related visual impairment (CVI), which she did not receive a diagnosis of until recently.

The film sheds light on how inflexible assessment can have an inhibiting effect on people's opportunities for education.

After the film, Dagbjört will answer questions and encourage the teaching and equality committees, especially all involved in assessment and teaching or considering it in the future, to take advantage of this unique opportunity to see and listen to the experiences of people not anticipated by the education system.
