Storage Room

Whispering to dust,
where time folds upon itself in quiet unrest.
Shelves heavy with forgotten dreams,
phantoms of laughter, shadows of screams.

Memories pulse in the air like breath,
a space between self and something else.
Truth bends, illusions dance,
is it horror, or just a chance to step inside and lose your place.

Wanxin Qu (b. 1993) graduated with a BA degree in costume design (for theater and screen) from the University of the Arts London in 2017 and has been working in different fields of art as a costume designer and sculptor. She has worked in various mediums including drawing, sculpture, installation and performance.
