That one November 20, 2025 at 13:00 in the lecture hall in Laugarnes ragnar Kjartansson and Ása Helga Hjörleifsdóttir will discuss their work Soap Opera and answer questions in a master's talk organized by the Faculty of Film Arts.

The piece, which is about 60 hours long, is a remake of 81 episodes from the popular American soap opera Santa Barbara. More information about the work can be found here 

We encourage students across departments to attend the master's talk, and we further encourage students to see the work before, but the exhibition in i8 Grandi in the Marshall House lasts until November 22.

On November 20th, 2025 at 13:00 in the Lecture Hall in Laugarnes, Ragnar Kjartansson and Ása Helga Hjörleifsdóttir will share their insight into the work of Soap Opera through a masterclass for LHÍ students, hosted by the film department.

The work, which is approximately 60 hours, is a re-creation of 81 episodes from the popular American soap opera Santa Barbara. Further information about the work can be found here.
