There have been no sports available for children who use a wheelchair. There can be many reasons for that, but the biggest obstacle is how expensive sports wheelchair seats are. In order to be able to offer exercises in ball sports such as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair handball, there must be 10 -12 chairs in each place. The cost of the chairs is so great that people have not put out that cost, so there is nothing available for this group.
In order to solve this, the „Project“ has invested in ten sports wheelchair with which the idea is that it will be possible to navigate between sports halls in an over-built trailer The trailer will be on the move in the city and neighboring municipalities Everyone with the desire to use it in order to bring positive messages to the community and at the same time raise awareness of the project.
All students of the Iceland University of the Arts can submit works in a competition „All with“ on the implementation of illustration for the project.
Prizes are awarded for the three best designs.
