Welcome to the openings of students in the art department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts, Thursday, May 8 between 17:00 - 20:00 in Laugarnes. Students in 1 and 2 years of bachelor's studies and 1 year of master's studies open exhibitions and show the results of their work recently, as well as visitors have the opportunity to visit students' workshops.

On May 8, the exhibitions of 1st year art students at LHÍ in Laugarnes open and you are so welcome.
It's a big day where the success of students in Year 1 in art at the Iceland Academy of the Arts will be on display. In the past year, students have had to bend and pull to their own comfort zone. This is about blood, sweat and tears. Everything has been put into all the work from the beginning to the end. In the last few weeks, the students have worked with the world in their arms and the works will be shown in spotlight.

On Thursday, May 8, second-year students of the BA Faculty of Fine Arts open the final exhibition of this second: “ Mud Riding Crutch Fighting” or “Svaðilför, Hækjuslagur”. The works will be on display in the art department of the University of the Arts in Laugarnes, in the home area of the second year students.
The opening will be from 5pm to 8pm. We look forward to seeing you !!!
