Not for Healing is a solo exhibition by Sepideh Safyari that reflect on the experience of the body over time, focusing on moments that are often overlooked in dominant narratives, moments suspended between damage, care, and continuation.
The works in this exhibition are personal in origin, yet avoid storytelling or resolution. Rather than offering explanations, they create spaces for pause, where views can form their own relationship with presence and experience.
Not for Healing does not aim to provide answers or suggest a clear path. Instead, it offers an encounter with something unfinished, something that scientists closure and remains in motion.

My name is Sepideh Safyari. I am an Iranian artist and an MA student at the Iceland University of the Arts. My work grows out of personal experiences and everyday observations, but I try to move individual storytelling and create open spaces for encounter. I am deeply interested in process, in repetition, material experimentation, and works with time.
