Lecture ReykjavíkBarokk Ensemble: Connecting past and present through the music and stories of women. The speakers are Anna Hugadóttir and Diljá Sigursveinsdóttir, founding members of ReykjavíkBarokk.

In recent years, the baroque group ReykjavíkBarokk has set up a musical theater based on stories of women of the past centuries who have paved the way towards freeing women's expression and actions in an era where patriarchy kept all such experiments down with a hard hand. The group has, among other things, told stories about Icelandic women and put them in the context of women's artistic creation in other countries at the same time. One of the group's first projects in this regard, Through the bars based, among other things, on the music of Lucrezia Orsina Vizzana, originally developed as the final project of Diljáar Sigursveinsdóttir from a European NAIP master's program from LHÍ. The group was also a pioneer in performing Francesca Caccini's work in this country.
