On Thursday, Kristrún Tjörnina in Reykjavík takes care. Reviewing the swims; incredible dexterity and immersion. Examining how the water ripples and sparkles. Shows the sexual creatures and fairy-tale glow in the city. Reykjavík pond framed in.

Kristrún is romantic, becomes fond of her subjects, has a love of truth and is driven by a strong need to document.

This Thursday at Kubburinn, Kristrún exhibits work inspired by the Reykjavík Pond, Tjörnin. Her photographs explore the incredible movements, agility, and diving techniques of the creatures of Tjörnin. Framed by the city, the waters of Tjörnin ripple and sparkle in a fairy-tale glow.
A romantic, Kristrún is captivated by her subjects and driven by the desire to document their presence.

The exhibition is part of the solo exhibition series of BA students in their third year of art, which will take place between September 25 - November 27, 2025.

Student solo exhibitions are part of the course Professors' workshops supervised by Sirra Sigrún Sigurðardóttir. Teachers Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir and Styrmir Örn Guðmundsson.
