Composer Pétur Eggertsson presents and discuses his work in the context of “Musicking” - Music as a verb rather than a noun. We will explore this term and think of how we can compose musical conditions, actions and other frameworks, seeking musical potential in everyday publications and objects, and studying the role of music as a social activity - and its current constraints.

Pétur Eggertsson is a composer who works via visual and performance art. Pétur is first and foremost interested in the customs and functions of musical performances and wants to create interference opportunities for all parties involved. The transformation of this legislation and performances can end up in unfamiliar territories. Pétur graduated with a BA in music composition from the University of the Arts in the University of the Arts in 2018 and members in the School of Iceland and society in the School of Iceland in 2018, CA00.
