Context welcomes the chamber group Ensemble Adapter on Friday, November 14. Ensemble Adapter works both in Iceland and in Berlin. Founding members Matthias Engler, percussionist, and Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir, harpist, lead the group's work focusing on collaboration and co-creation with a diverse group of artists around the world. Ensemble Adapter approaches music creation on a broad basis and the group's work is diverse, from creating, curating, producing, maintaining workshops and education to performing contemporary music, whether on stage or through other media. Ever since the group's founding in 2004, the group has premiered hundreds of works and performed at numerous festivals and concerts around the world.

Driven by Matthias Engler (perc) and Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir (harp), it focuses on collaborative work with partners of various artistic backgrounds worldwide. Treating music as a contemporary art form, Ensemble Adapter creatures, curates, products, works, workshops and performances - both onstage and online.
