Context of welcome Robert Ek Friday, November 28th with his lecture In Motion hyperclarinet within embodied musicking systems.

Robert has been a PhD candidate at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) since 2019. At the core of this doctoral project lies an iterative process in which new embodied musicking systems are designed, used, and tested in collaborative processes. This oscillation is well described by Per Anders Nilsson (2011) as “ign time” and performed during the knowledge, and processing of the system.

The event will take place at Dynjandi, Music Department, Skipholt 31.

All are welcome!

Robert Ek has, as a clarinetist, specialized in contemporary music as a chamber musician and soloist. With great curiosity and dedication, he works together with musicians to develop the record part of the world. He likes to work in the border country between arts and has worked closely with writers, choreographers and filmmakers with writers, critics and filmers from different events, Robert (Bersteem and film).

The lecture is open for all!
