Context welcomes the electronic music band sideproject Friday, April 10 with the lecture sideproject - hardcoresupa. During the lecture, they will address the ideas that have shaped them, the approaches to live performance of electronic music, trends and trends in contemporary electronic music, and their collaboration with record label SVBKVLT that emerged from Shanghai's electronic music scene in 2013.
The event takes place in Dynjanda, the building of the Music Department, Skipholt 31.

Context of welcomes the electronic music band sideproject on Friday, April 10th with the lecture sideproject - hardcoresupa. In the lecture they will cover some ideas that have influenced their music, their approach to live performance and their collaboration with Manchester-Shanghai based.

sideproject is an Icelandic electronic music band made up of Atla Finnsson, Hjálmar Karlsson and Örlygi Steinari Arlands. The band was founded in 2018 and the members of the band all took part in the establishment of the art association post-distribution. In the last seven years, the band released three albums, two concert albums and several singles. In addition, they came to rhythm programming for Björk on the album Fossora in 2022, warmed up for Autechre in 2025 and played at music festivals such as Unsound in Kraków, Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Nyege Nyege Festival in Uganda. Over the years, their interest in concert performance has increased and a large part of their work process is about finding their own voice in live performance. The music of sideproject is characterized by dense and ever-changing rhythms and live melodies. The music draws influence from various trends and trends in punk music, and live melodies.
