Wednesday, November 13, 6:00 pm
Visual artist Helgi Vignir Bragason and curator Birta Fróðadóttir will lead the students around the exhibition, and Helgi will tell about his travels through the construction area of the new national hospital at Hringbraut and his reflections and pictures of this largest construction project in Icelandic history. Óskar Örn Arnórsson will also tell about the activities of the exhibition space of the Fire Station in Gufunesi.

At the exhibition Profit: a reflection on a topic helgi Vignir Bragason discusses complex and controversial state construction in countless layers. Helgi forms the buildings during the construction period when work is down, thus capturing the genesis of a building and the attraction inherent in the moment when everything is quiet and the dust settles We see deep into the structure's vast dimensions The camera captures raw surfaces, tangled nerve endings and multi-layered structures.

The fire station is an independent exhibition and event space for architects and enthusiasts of architecture and spatial art, housed in the fire station of the former State Fertilizer Factory in Gufunesi.
