On the occasion of Misvíðir, a joint project of the fashion design program of the Iceland University of the Arts and the Red Cross Clothing Collection, took place for the tenth time this year, a festival was held in the Nordic House and Gróska on the 22nd-24th. November.
The first daily item was a weight of speech entitled „Fashion and environmental”" in the Nordic House on Friday, November 22 at 12.30-16. The symposium was organized by the fashion design program of the Iceland University of the Arts, the Red Cross Clothing Collection and the Environment Agency.
The subject of the seminar was the state of fashion and fashion design in Iceland today, the environmental impact of the clothing industry and the cycle of textiles.

Ragna S. Bjarnadóttir, professional director at LHÍ's fashion design program, welcomed the guests.
