The cooperation committee of the university level met at a meeting last week, but the spring semester has started and the activities of the universities are in full swing. The committee is a forum for consultation and cooperation between the universities on common issues that concern their activities and interests. The committee consists of the rectors of the universities in Iceland, but it is nice to report that for the first time it is women who occupy the position of rector in all the universities in the country.
